They actually backed down and stopped the march toward conflict which felt like a total daydream when I first wrote this post. I am still looking at the news and honestly just shaking my head because it seemed like nobody was listening at first but you all kept clicking and …

To President Obama and Secretary Clinton:

At no time since the Iranian people rose up against the hated U.S-installed Shah has a U.S./Israeli military attack against Iran seemed more possible. Following three decades of unrelenting hostility, the last few months have seen a steady escalation of charges, threats, sanctions and actual preparations for an attack.

We, the undersigned demand No War, No Sanctions, no Internal Interference in Iran.

I noticed the counter creeping up and it makes me think about how easily these headlines get ignored while the rhetoric keeps heating up. If everyone reading this just grabs one person from their contacts who has been worried about this stuff too then we might actually hit that goal before the shift changes. It is just so loud out there right now and I really need us to cut through that noise together.

I looked at the counter and realized we hit one hundred signatures which frankly feels surreal because I was worried nobody would even read this thing. It is wild to think about people actually clicking and signing because usually these things just float off into the void of the internet (which is mostly just noise anyway). Anyway I need to go grab coffee now but thank you for paying attention to this.

I really thought this might just float into the void unnoticed but it feels like the momentum is finally shifting toward the urgency of the situation. It is honestly heartening to see so many people realize that we cannot afford another conflict because the risk of escalation is just too high to ignore.

Its always the same story. Sanctions just hurt regular people who are trying to feed their families. Stop the aggression.

Just leave them be. Everyone is so quick to jump to violence and sanctions when we should be talking. So tired of this.

Why cant we just focus on our own problems instead of trying to play world police 24/7? Sick of this constant threat of war.
