Please pray for all of our persecuted priests. (Our holy pastor was also removed because he blew the whistle on sexual harassment taking place in our Archdiocese. Like the others, he is now kept hidden in what amounts to priest prison.) Father Altman and all of these brave shepherds are nothing less than modern day martyrs. They are willing to endure great pain, in order that the Truth of our Lord Jesus Christ be given witness to this broken world. God will favor these faithful men for what they must endure because of a weak and sinful hierarchy, that much is certain - but nonetheless, the injustice of what is taking place in our Church today is simply staggering. May Our Lord bless all of His holy priests in their suffering. And may He be merciful to those distraught Catholics who have left the Church due to the horrific sexual abuse and/or to the general abuse of power. I support Father Altman and his call for Catholics to BE Catholic.

All that Fr. Altman represents reminds me of the what Jesus prayed "“I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing!" Luke 12:49. Fr. Altman has lit a fire among many FAITHFUL Catholics & called many more BACK to faith because they finally heard faith preached with fire and conviction.

This good priest has brought me back to the faith. I believe the Holy Spirit tapped this good and gifted holy man. After some years as a lawyer, he was picked for this mission. Spreading His word without fear. Do not take this priest. You know he is highly effective if the devil is after him

Father Altman has only done what I've wished my church would do. I realize he did say so harshly but I'm pretty sure it was probably because he started out delicate (like my parish) & some did not get it. As a mom I understand this, you have to get firmer each time. And he is after all a dad who takes that responsibility very seriously. I've often sat in church & wished that my father would yell & wake some up. And I have a wonderful parish & Father Guilbeu is amazing. The point is he said the truth, he hasn't lied. And he need to hear it! The body of Christ needs to stand up & unite for the common good. We can't keep being quite & polite because the world isn't getting it & Satan is loud. And you are in the position to publicly stand with him. To say you agree with what he said. Please, we need to hear you say it! If you were to get rid of him, Satan will win. Other priests will be scared to preach the truth. And we will get watered down homilies instead of the truth that our Lord Jesus Christ wants to be heard. You can make such a difference, may God Almighty guide you in your decision. Please not only keep Father Altman but stand beside him!

Fr Altman is a priest that we Catholics are drawn to because of his faith, his principles of our faith and his resolve to uphold and proclaim the Church's doctrines. He stands for our teachings and does nor waiver. He brings Catholics together and BACK to God.
