We are are not a parishioner, but Fr. Altman has had a positive impact on our lives with his faithful preaching of the Gospel of Christ. My family supports him wholeheartedly.

He has risen, alleluia! And praised be Jesus Christ for such a priest as Fr Altman! I currently reside in the Superior Diocese of Wisconsin where it truly is a barren wasteland. It is unfortunate to say, but I do not find a priest there speaking with such truth and conviction. In such a time of the Church, with scandal upon scandal, we are only seeking the truth! I have travelled to St James the Less Parish in your diocese (over two hours from Barron, WI) to listen to the priest in person that I found is a true shepherd who is laying his life down for his flock. A LCMS Lutheran friend who also listens to Fr. Altman’s homilies came with me to mass just to see him! After mass, I was able to meet Fr. Altman who was extraordinary to talk to. He even gave the baby (then only a few weeks along) living in my womb and me a special blessing. Now that baby is veering towards the third trimester, with plenty of kicks and hiccups, with five brothers anticipating the birth. I pray everyday that this blessing of a child will live out with the greatest of potential the very special mission on this earth God has destined for this child. That is exactly what Fr. Altman is doing. He is boldly living out his vocation God has placed him here for. If I was not over two hours away, I would be at Fr Altman’s church pew every Sunday and every day I could in between. I already travel to Chippewa Falls which is at the top of your diocese so I can get a solidly Catholic mass. Your diocese is flourishing (yes flourishing!) with SOLID, TRUTHFUL, and LOYAL priests and to censor such at this time in the Church would be devastating; devastating to the church as a whole, bringing fear to fellow priest, crushing families wanting to live the very truths and teachings of the church. I pray for you dear bishop, that you will earnestly pray over such matter and listen to those of us in the church, not a petition started by someone who doesn’t hold the churches teachings as truth. Fr. Altman is a wonderful grace for our Church. He speaks the truth of God as did the prophets of the Old Testament, both in season and out. We, the faithful, depend on this truth to survive in this post-Christian, modernist world.

While I am not a parishioner at St. James the Less, I wish I was. I support Father Altman, and, as a daughter of the Catholic Church, I implore you not to censure Father Altman in any way. He has been an inspiration to Catholics across the U.S. and the world. I agree entirely with the sentiments of this petition and beseech you not to disregard my signature solely on the basis of not being a parishioner. Your Exellency, it is a desert out here. We are thirsting for Truth, and Father Altman is being a faithful servant of God in providing it.
