Fr. Altman has been a blessing to me during the Ovid lockouts. He speaks what the Roman Catholic Church used to teach before we bowed to Vatican II. I believe the Holy Spirit is helping Fr. Altman minister to faithful Catholics and bring them to our Lord.

Dear Bishop Callahan, please please please defend your good shepherd Fr. Altman. He has given me hope, and joy during a horrible year of social insanity, and personal losses due to cancer. His words reflect the truth of the Gospel. You know this. Being truthful can sound harsh at times, but anyone who has followed Fr. Altman during this year knows that he has a strong faith and conviction, a sincere love for souls and their salvation, which compels him to shout from the rooftops the truth of Jesus Christ. He is the embodiment of a loving and merciful father. Please don’t let the depraved forces of the world dictate how to manage your flock. May God bless you and give you the grace and strength to be a powerful witness to Jesus Christ.

Please support Fr. Altman. He is a much appreciated voice in a world that wants us to shut God out. If COVID-19 did anything good it was that it caused me to search the Internet for Mass & Catholic leadership. The day I found Fr. Altman, I didn’t know where he was, but I knew he was special. I sent his sermon to a friend back home & told her to listen. I told her I wish this was my parish priest! I have been yearning for a priest that told the plain & simple truth. What a breath of fresh air!
I received a reply, “That’s my parish priest! He’s at St. James the Less in La Crosse!” No way! was my reply. I told her when I come to visit, I’m coming there to church!
Please, protect & support Fr. Altman. As his shepherd, you need to have his back for all Catholics who are inspired by his teachings & want to stay true to the magisterium of the Catholic Church.
