What a shameful farce to persecute someone for speaking the truth.

It's heart and minds folks heart minds but more importantly it's the soul we are in a battle of souls!

Jesus himself said he was sent for division

Father Altman is a genuine priest that speaks the truth. Catholics need him.

Dear Bishop Callahan, Fr. Altman is a priest with courage. He is not afraid to speak the truth about the Catholic faith, the Church, and it's teachings. He is not afraid to call out Catholics that openly defy church teaching on abortion and to point out their hypocrisy. This is what priests are supposed to do. Our church, it's leaders, and parishioners, have become too charitable in how we excuse bad behavior and sin in our own lives and others to the point where we make excuses or overlook these faults and serious sins. We need to be more like Jesus in the temple turning over the money changers tables. This what Fr. Altman does and this is what he gives other Catholics the courage to do. You need to stand up for your priests when they speak the truth, not turn your back on them. How can your flock have any confidence in you if this is the way you will deal with the men charged to pastor your flock. Please do the right thing and rescind your request for Fr. Altman to resign and meet with him personally to settle this matter. I pray for you to have the courage and wisdom needed in this situation.

Fr Altman has given me hope and has taught from the pulpit the things my parents taught me. Decisive? Tell me what falsehood he spoke? I am furious but will continue to pray for the Bishops soul-and his conversion.

Fr. John Altman is an inspiring young priest who speaks to his flocks and stays true to Catholic teachings. He has said nothing that conflicts with the Catechismus Catholicae Ecclesiae. Like you bishop, many other Church leaders have betrayed their flocks. You are on the wrong path along with our misguided president. I will pray that you receive the Holy Spirit and return to the priest that deserves the title "Excellency". JMJ.

Fr Altman's preaching of the Scripture in its absolute truth has helped me resist the very strong temptation of late to run far and fast from the "politically correct", increasingly left-leaning, institutional Catholic Church. Decisions like the one to silence Fr Altman (and a few other courageous priests who speak the honest truth) may yet drive me away. I'd rather not go, but I feel pushed out of the Church by the so-called leadership, the men in high places who seem oblivious to the havoc, the wounds, their decisions impose on the Church. For what gain? Power and money?? These times remind me of what I read in Scripture of the political climate in the Temple in Jesus' day--you know, the times when the "leaders" spent so much energy trying to entrap and kill him. Then they did!! I'll be praying for Fr Altman, count on it.

I support Father James Altman because I see him as a holy man of God who stands up for the truth of the Catholic faith and as Jesus and his apostles did go through persecution and suffering.We all know that the evil one has entered The Church and we see this in the persecution of Father Altman.I would say to Father Altman to continue to fight for truth and The Bride of Christ until death where then he will receive the crown of glory from Our Lord and Our Lady.Thank you Father Altman for standing firm in the face of persecution.May God and Our Lady give you strength!

Father is speaking God’s truth and I pray for all the clergy who are not speaking the truth that their hearts and souls may be converted to do God’s will and not the Devil who has infiltrated every part of our world. He is pulling us apart, turn back to your God who is love and mercy for All.

All you bishops and “church leaders” have ABANDONED us!! You have the nerve to punish the only one standing up for us! Shame on you! May The Lord help Fr. Altman and all the brave priests who are not afraid of telling the TRUTH.

I sincerely believe Fr. Altman is a gift from Almighty God for these times. Holy Spirit, guide us in the truth.

We are all called to be witnesses of the Truth. To our one, holy, Catholic and apostolic faith that Jesus left us. Fr Altman has done that; Your Eminence, please do the same
