We support Father Altman and will continue to do so wherever he goes. It is the USCCB and Bishop Callahan that have been grossly ineffective leading their flocks. May God have mercy.

“UPDATED: La Crosse bishop asks Father Altman to resign amid controversies, May 24, 2021: "As the Bishop has stated to me: I am ineffective. So for the record dear family, Bishop Callahan has asked me to resign as pastor as of this past Friday, two days ago, because I am divisive and ineffective," Altman said.” Chippewa Herald, Thursday, May 27, 2021
By what objective measure is Father Altman deemed to be “ineffectual? If truth this should be clearly delineated, but we have no data provided on this topic.
Being “devisive” is sometimes a necessary part of the Catholic faith as we are to be set apart from the world, not part of it (Luke 12:51: “Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, nay; but rather division.”)
“ … the tone of Jesus Himself calling the entire group of pharisees and sadducees ‘blind guides … whited sepulchers filled with dead men’s bones … filled with evil and iniquity!’ (Matthew 25) Was Jesus ‘divisive, uncharitable, and lacking in virtue?’ [From An Open Letter to Bishop William Callahan about his Treatment of Fr. James Altman, Mary Ann Kreitzer, President, Catholic Media Coalition, September 18, 2020] According to Hebrews 10:31 “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Jesus got MAD, and WE SHOULD TOO, but at the right time for the right reason. This is called “righteous indignation” which is anger against sin under control. It is not a sinful anger, but a holy and righteous hatred of sin.
We are not to be part of the world, nor are we called to be Politically Correct. We are; however, required to be BIBLICALLY correct (Luke 12:19 56): Revelation 3; John 15:18-19; Romans 12:2; 1 John 2:15; John 17:14; John 17:16; James 4:4; 2 Corinthians 6:17; Matthew 15:8; Isaiah 29:13; Ephesians 5:11; Exodus 23:2; Ezekiel 3:18. Jesus got Angry - Matthew 21:12-13; Mark 11:15-18; John 2:13 22; Mark 3:5. So yes, Jesus did in fact get angry at times, but He didn’t sin Hebrews 4:15.

Come, Lord Jesus, cleanse your holy temple! We thirst for the Living Waters you promised. Our souls thirst for truth in a world filled with lies & deception. Come, Good Shepherd and save your people from the evil that is lurking in your Holy Church, parading around in their fineries... Pharisees, wolves in Shepherd’s clothing while we hunger & thirst for you. You sent your apostles out to preach the Truth with authority and to serve. Come, Sweet Savior of the world and save us. Protect this innocent Priest! We know the voice of our Good Shepherd is. He is the one with courage to proclaim the Truth given for us by Jesus Christ. He died to bring us to Himself. God help the one who causes one of these little ones to stumble and fall, it would have been better for him had he never been born. We hear Your Voice, oh Lord, and we follow your voice. Please protect the Priests you have raised up for these wicked times. +++

Fr. Altman has helped me keep my faith during our states lock down. His words gave me hope, and increased my faith. He has courage to say the things that Catholics need to hear at such an uncertain time in the world. He is what we need more of. We need more Fr. Altmans leading us. We need, and must return to the traditional faith that made us the one true faith, the faith that made our country great. I pray for Fr. Altman, our church leaders, world leaders, and all who serve.
Fr. Altman has reached me in Illinois, I share his message, and pray he can continue the good works God has put before him. God bless all.
