The thuggish, brutish way this dignified man is being treated by the buffoons in the media is outrageous.

The hysteria campaign against Corbyn shows that the mass movement has the Tories, the establishment and the entire ruling class running scared. The working class is waking up. It's time to defend Corbyn against the abuse of the bosses and take up the fight for socialism!

Absolutely disgusting that as a society we allow the media to print constant lies! It needs to be regulated and stopped now!

There is a vast difference between truthful criticism & downright lies. This demeans the whole country & shows the Tory Press up for the liars & cheats they really are

Here’s an example of a letter complaint – which I sent to the BBC regarding their coverage of Jeremy Corbyn: Dear BBC, I got fed up listening to BBC correspondents fuelling criticism of Mr Corbyn for not singing the national anthem. Jeremy Corbyn has never hidden that he’s a republican – something none of your correspondents chose to mention. And, besides republicans, there are other people who have difficulty singing it, including atheists, agnostics, those whose religious beliefs don’t include a monotheistic deity, or regard it as having too close a link to the established church, those monarchists who accept the considerable evidence that the legitimate current British monarch resides in Australia – let alone peace lovers and campaigners who think ‘Send her victorious’ an unwelcome throwback to bombastic days of British Empire builders. To make it a requirement to sing it is deeply disrespectful of all these thousands of people’s beliefs and ideas, belonging with a fascist state which denies freedom of thought and speech, or an absolute monarchy based on divine right. Although it shouldn’t matter, I’m British born and bred, and can trace lineage in this country to 1066. Further, my grandfather fought in the trenches in WW1, whilst my father was a tank regiment Captain in WW2, and I’ve personally given many thousands of pounds to charities supporting veterans traumatised by war (in particular Forward Assist), I support CND, and find it deeply insulting to suggest that I do not respect those who died in or have been wounded or mentally scarred by such violent conflicts. Best wishes, Oliver Swingler Ps. I published on Facebook – more than 200 likes so far!

This sustained attack on Labour's leader is a direct attack and insult on the thousands who voted him in.

If we are actually living in a democracy, then this may not matter. But as we are not anymore, then it certainly does. State directed media and propaganda. Sniff the smell!

Last time I looked I still lived in a democracy. JC might not be the politician the right wing and Blairites want running the country ... but I DO !!! I will not buy another newspaper or follow BBC news until the media start respecting him and his views.

Disgusting way to portray a man that has newly been elected that actually serves and listens to the people of this country. Shame on you. All you care about is profit

Sour grapes and childish name calling not impede the decline of the careerists. The new leader of the Labour Party is a democratic socialist, a man of honour. Get over it!

It's probably a sign that the right wing are very worried about Jeremy's election but it's pathetic and getting ridiculous. It has to stop.
