we did it and the by-law is officially getting updated to allow atv and side by side use on our roads. cant believe we actually pulled this off and i appreciate every single one of you who backed this from the start. stay safe out there and please keep riding …
The Northumberland District ATV riders and local citizens from Hamilton Township are looking for your support. Sign the Petition if you are in support of Hamilton Township updating it's road by-laws to allow ATV and Side by Side vehicles to ride on the roads.
We support safe and responsible riding for Licensed and insured drivers.
Tourism and Hospitality establishments will benefit from local and visiting Recreational Riders visiting the Area... being able to travel throughout Hamilton Township and Northumberland County.
This bylaw if passed will be great for Hamilton TWP and ATVers both local and visitors. Also the business in the TWP will prosper as more riders will come into town as it will be legal. If you drive through Bewdley any given weekend, you will see ATVs sitting in front of the Restaurant's now. So let's make it legal and many more will come as they will not have to worry about getting charged. The OPP have been great to date, but let's work together ànd help them help us.

We need to move forward with other rural townships and have Hamilton Township implement an ATV by-law. There is no better ATV club to support and maintain than the Northumberland ATV Riders. See Crahame, Alnwick, and Trent Hills.

As a resident of Hamilton Township and residing on Rice Lake drive right in the village of Bewdley I support the idea of allowing ATV's and Side By Sides on the roads out here. It would also be great if they could park in an area of the actual park across from Rhino's. Save the very limited street parking for tourists with street vehicles.

I live in Hamilton township and like seeing people out and about riding. Please allow them to drive on the sides of the roads so they can get to the trails with out trespassing on private property

Road use has been signed for Hasitings & Prince Edward Community's. Which both are heavily reliant on tourism during ATV seasons. Policing issues regarding nonsense or irrational driving complaints have dropped. It is a win/win bylaw achievement for all parties. Increased revenue and more responsible slower riding. Following provincial HTA (MTO) guild lines you will find progress in a positive vote for road use. This will help local businesses, residential citizens who enjoy the sport and also your farming community. Thank you for this opportunity to sign your petition and allowing comments.
