It’s really absurd that you would charge students 500 cedis per semester just to park their cars in a facility designed to be used by the very students who had paid school fees which to an extent is used to improve the facilities in the school and well as serve as income for staff. There is really no need to charge such an amount. How many hours in the week do we have class?? How many days in a week do we have class?? It is fraudulent and wrong to ask us to pay 500 cedis per semester just to park our cars.

UG Students pay Ghs 50 to use electronic gates. On what bases is GIMPA charging 500? And this affects only Law Students, the biggest contributors to the school’s coffers.

I think providing parking space for students is more of customer service than a privilege. GIMPA could do better.

I believe the 500 gh is unfair especially for law students . The parking at the law faculty should be first come , first serve basis. 500 gh semester fee for parking is too much considering the fees we are paying . During the Covid era , a petition was made for a rebate of the fees since we didn’t not make use of the classroom and other ameninties. The school is yet to refund or honor this petition . Students cannot receive a double slap by paying 500 gh for parking . The fees we are paying at GIMPA is not cheap for us to pay for parking . This is clear extortion and the administration must reconsider this decision
