I am appalled at what Fairfax County has put this poor woman through. You need to rectify this abuse immediately! I am a registered nurse and know the importance of adequate care and medications for the elderly.

Mary Stevens is my wonderful mother. I can assure everyone that I do NOT "manipulate" her, as her Guardian claims that I do, and I am following her EXACT instructions, which I have recorded on VIDEO. Anyone who claims otherwise is just plain wrong..... ASK MY MOTHER!

Medical care at Walter Reed is a right earned by military service. Of all the disrespectful actions toward Mrs Stevens, this is an insult to the memory of her husband who served to protect the human rights we are all due. Nothing can correct these wrongs, but immediate action is required to protect Mrs. Stevens and her son who are innocent victims in this instance.

my friend, Lee Stevens' mother, Mrs Mary Stephens, has asked to post this petition to the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors asking to halt her abuse by the County's appointed Guardian. The Guardian has now banned Lee from all communications and visits with my own mom, FOR FOLLOWING MY MOM'S EXPRESS INSTRUCTIONS TO VISIT HER DOCTORS AT WALTER REED. It's crazy for a "Guardian" to prohibit an elderly person to see her own doctor, who knows more about her medical history than anyone. Lee's mom has also been cared for very skillfully by Dr. Berbano, who has literally saved her life on more than one occasion. It is one of the reasons why she is a cancer survivor who has now reached the age of 93.
On behalf of The Stevens family, I would greatly appreciate your support.
