In light of the Islamic attacks in Paris and around the world. We demand that Missouri Governor Jay Nixon halt all future temporary or permanent resettlement of Middle Eastern Refugees in the state of Missouri. Bringing in these refugees poses a clear and present danger to the citizens of our state. They threaten our culture and and safety of our children and could pose a significant threat to the state economy.

Please do not put my family in danger. We live in this great state for many reasons but one is because it has great values and a safety to it that should never be disrupted. Thank you.
Why would we want to open our country up to more terrorists and their psychotic thinking. We have enough to worry about
Gov. Nixon you are the voice of the people you serve- my request HALT ALL FUTURE TEMPORARY/PERMANENT REFUGEES IN MISSOURI. Be a strong part of the central Midwest.
This ludicrous idea would put many people in jeopardy. Frankly Americans are feeling edgy. There are hundreds of thousands of gun owners that don't ever want to use them for protection but definitely would if the need arose. The problem is we as Americans can't separate the good guys from the bad guys. In my opinion you'll have every citizen walking around with their finger on the trigger. On one hand this will keep many of us from becoming victims but it will also end up getting quite a few decent refugees killed by someone fearful of an attack. The first time a car backfires in downtown everyone will shoot the dark haired bearded guy or we won't out of political correctness and later he'll cut someone's head off at a Chiefs game. My suggestion is to keep them all out of your state even if it takes every policeman you've got quaraning them at the airport!
Please set the tone and do this. Please treat our state better than the President is treating our country.

Our state is riddled with social issues already. If our federal government won't keep us safe, please leaders of our state help us ! Welcoming Syrian refugees into our state as a recipe for disaster . Most of the refugees that actually need help like women and children are unable to travel. Inadequate travel documents, getting shuffled through the system, this is how terrorists sneak into our country. This is the avenue that the terrorists used to make Paris attacks happen. Of course we as Americans feel bad and our hearts go out to those who need help, but we have to think of ourselves first! Nothing is worth risking the lives of our families, at some point you have to think logically . If Obama won't I hope our governor will.
