Should have had one years ago. Great for children of all ages to hang out. All the ones I've been to the children are very supportive of each other.

I think that this would be great because my little brother always begs us to take him into town to the skate parks so having one so close would be PERFECT

Halswell Domain is a great place for it. Nice and central to get a coffee and watch the kids enjoy the park. Washington way is great but nice to have something local that you can walk to.

My kids love the Prebbleton skate park and it gets so busy at times. It would be great to have another option in the area.

For the record, I live in Parklands. But think this is a wonderful thing for Kids, and would be happy to see one over this side of town too! Best wishes

This would be an awesome addition for the kids of Halswell. Halswell has expanded massively over the last few years but offers little recreation opportunities in comparison.

"Idle hands are the devils workshop". Perhaps that is why there has been such an increase in crime in Halswell. What is there for our young people to do? My 12 year old daughter skates at Prebbleton and Washington Way and we have never encountered any problems. Give the kids of Halswell somewhere to go and have some harmless fun
