I drink a lot of water. It troubles me that I don't have control of the dosage I take of a drug - which is what fluoride is. My other option is to buy spring or reverse osmosis water, which gets expensive. I am a renter so I cannot install my own reverse osmosis system. We should not have to pay with our wallets or our health because some parents do not make their kids brush their teeth.

There is more evidence to show that Fluoride is harmful and in fact does NOT prevent tooth decay rather cause serious illness. Municipalities that continue to poison residents whilst evidence show s harmful effects and that it is a TOXIN may find themselves the wrong end of a class action law suit. Do the right thing and leave the water fluoride free.

I assumed we in Nova Scotia were free of floride, but since discovering that we are not, I purchased a distiller to filter floride out of MY WATER. Since then my nails are not brittle for one thing. What else could I not detect that this poison affected? Please stop adding floride to Halifax water supply. Do your research.

What sets us apart from every other species on earth is "choice". Fluoride in drinking water should be a choice not an imposed state regulation.

I should get the right to make an informed decision on how fluoride goes into my body. Slowly poisoning the people of this province with a known toxin, is an outdated method which is unnecessary and cruel and it is time for change.

Thank you for starting this petition. Fluoride is found in many products out on the market. We don't need it in our water. We should have a choice on fluoride consumption. If they put warnings on toothpaste then that should be an indication of the potential toxicity of Fluoride.

I have visible dental fluorosis after having grown up in Dartmouth in the
'80s. I avoid fluoride in all of my consumer purchases but cannot afford, nor to I think it a sustainable choice, to buy bottled water everyday. I do not support the fluoridation of the municipal water supply.

With fluoridated water, my medical right to informed consent is being violated. This is unethical. I want to be able to choose weather this goes into my body or not.

I want to drink tap water without fluoride in it. I want to be able to get a coffee or tea from a cafe and know that its not made with fluoridated water.
