Gastro pubs are hugely popular, and this is such a notable place could easily attract the crowds that The Cross Foxes does. There's nothing else around unless you're in either town. Additionally, if there were room, wouldn't it be useful to have a little local shop of sorts, to save people the trek to Barmouth/Dolgellau, also serving coffee and a social hub?

Have driven past here over 10 years this has been empty for many years. This should be a community pub.

Such a lovely looking building going to ruin. Have always admired it in passing and we've even eaten there a few times. I would buy it and restore it if I had the money

A lovely building and a once-beautiful pub has now become an eyesore and is bad for the local tourist industry.

So sad to see this historic building falling into such a state of disrepair. It would be a great loss to the village to see it gone or even used as a domestic residence. I have many memories of happy times here and believe it would be a great investment to restore it.
