As a home owner and long time residential I will defend the right of all patents to make this choice for their children - snot encrusted, germ laden masks that are 100% worn ineffiently do nothing to protect but hinder breathing, cause distraction and interfere with both pediatric, social snd educational development. Adults have options/- don’t make hostages out of the kids and their dissenting parents.

This should be for kids and anyone who works in the school and is fully vaccinated

Masks should be a choice, especially when seated in the classroom. Children are lower risk, the adults are vaccinated if they wish to be.

I believe in our constitution and our freedoms Masks and Vaccines are a choice and should NOT be considered a mandate

Masks are ineffective and also cause emotional harm to our children. Additionally, they are putting our children at risk for health issues in the future. This is formal notice that if any harm that comes to any child attending Half Hollow School District they have the right to seek legal action against the Half Hollow School District and any member of the Half Hollow School District, including the Half Hollow Hills Board of Education. Protect our children! Do not mandate masks!

Enough with the frikkin' masks! Tell us how we defer education taxes so we can use OUR money for alternate learning methods. Otherwise, start with a healthy lifestyle before you demand masks on our kids! There are TOO MANY teachers! There are TOO MANY schools! There are TOO MANY people sitting on boreds! Aides, faculties, custodians... cut all the numbers in HALF! We can't afford to squander tax dollars anymore. Our kids are not here for you. Your purpose exists because of them. No one asked you to teach, you CHOSE to! Why can't we hire fresh, young educators (who cost half as much) and are happy to embrace new learning methods, adapt better and are healthy enough to get better after if they get sick? The talent pools are overspilling with them! You're supposed to be the educated ones!!!

The point of vaccinating was so we could be mask less. A full day is way too long for children to be oxygen deprived and it affects their ability to Communicate both with teachers and peers. Kids are very much lacking skills due to on school during Covid and interruptions in education let’s move forward.

The JAMA Pediatrics article published by the AMA in June 2021 is all I need to know that masks are unhealthy for my children. Parents have the authority over their children’s’ health and well-being and they should absolutely have the choice.
