Vegemite is off of my shopping list until halal certification removed, it is also off my many friends shopping lists who will add to this petition. I will not invest in any company connected with any halal certification. Enjoy your new incredibly low profitability.

I think it is totally illegal to pay religous tax on any of my foods.
I will not buy any halal food and it should be stopped from companys supporting it as it should be banned immediately
If i wanted to pay any money it will be for all aged , disabled, hospitals and nursing homes not some crap religon

I am absolutely disgusted to find that Vegemite is Halal certified. How dare they take an Aussie icon and certify it so the bloody Muslims can eat it! If I go to Saudi Arabia are the going to Aussie certify a great big bacon sandwich for me?!

The writing is so small, that you can't even see if you are purchasing Halal. Why should any food have a religious connection on them. Why should we bend backwards to keep a small minority happy is beyond me. My Mother is Asian Spanish and she goes to a special store to bye food a majority of us will not eat and certainly doesn't wish to push it off on any of us like Halal, just to satisfy her racial, cultural or even religious beliefs. Further, how do we know if the money from Halal food is going overseas to the middle east funding terrorism.

The writing is so small, that you can't even see if you are purchasing Halal. Why should any food have a religious connection on them. Why should we bend backwards to keep a small minority happy is beyond me. we have for too long given in to the minorities. Its time we took a stand. Halal certification and Sharia law has no place in Australia as it stands for the worst kind of discrimination possible. Islam is not tolerant of any other thinking but theirs!!!!!!!

And this just makes grocery shopping harder, i will not support the muslim religion. Australia doesnt want it, but our goverment seems to dissagree. Europe is on the verge of being over taken, england is already stuffed. Time to put a stop to this
