It is ridiculous to close salons.
There are only 3-4 people all socially distanced and wearing masks.
This does not make any sense and is extremely punitive to the both the salon owners, hairdressers, and clients.

To have hair salons shut down, but keep the schools open is absolutely absurd. I have been to this salon many times since we reopened , and every measure of sanitization plus some were done. Please let them open! Their livelihood depends on it.

With the strict sanitizing methods put in place at salons, they are safer than department stores or beer stores. It’s ridiculous that the small businesses are being made to suffer.

Definitely an essential service as far as I'm concerned. The mental health piece is huge and I look forward to being able to "feel better" about myself after a salon visit. Please reconsider

If government is going to shut down small businesses indiscriminately then level the playing field and subsidise them. Small businesses cannot weather this storm! And if the LCBO is an essential service then so are our salons. People still need these services on a practical level and as much if not more for mental health.

Salons are not the problem. They are following the protocol.
