Salons deal with bacteria every day. They are not Covid super spreaders. Protocols are followed and should be considered essential.

Please reconsider the opening of salons, barbershops and personal care services. Strict covid precautions have been taken, even extra measures to keep staff and clients safe. More restrictions are needed in industrial, factory and religious spaces where many people are in close proximity.

Salons are quite able to control who and how many people come into their premises and therefore should be allowed to open!

We have people come in every 2 weeks sometimes to just get there hair washed and blow dryed. For a lot it's the only human contact. There hasn't been 1 case there. Not one of us has even had any symptoms. 10 people or less Is a good idea. And our salon even when at its busy doesn't have that much. All chairs are 6 feet apart. Local places are dying out and big corporations are striving. I work for a family owned salon. So 4 of us are out of work. And 3 from the same household. Our staff is family too and has family to support.

I work in a totally safe salon. Never more than 6 people in at once. We also have a surgical air purifier medical grade.

If the government closes anything it should be the bars. Stats show most of the cases are 18- 35. They can drink at home.

I think it’s completely unfair that salons are forced to be shut down when all these big box stores that no one is social distancing at can be open! We as stylists have done everything we can to prevent the spread of Covid!

There has not been a single case linked to salons. Our jobs can not be done from home. By locking us down you are killing our business, ours and our clients mental state of mind is effected. Your also leaving a big opportunity to a salon black market. We all hear about people doing hair everywhere in homes, basements, garages, etc. Please please please reconsider!!!

Small businesses have suffered enough, their cleanliness is 2nd to none, their protocols are ridged, I see no reason not to keep them open

Fair is fair! If Walmart, Costco and other huge box stores can stay open than small businesses should stay open too!

This is more then looking good, an appearance for a person can also play a role in mental health.

If big-box stores are allowed to be open, then well-managed salons deserve a chance!
