Many of us spent quite a bit of money on Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2 despite all the worst we feared in not having access to our own dedicated servers. In exchange for out cash and our fear we were made certain promises by Activision, Infinity Ward and Steam. WE were PROMISED: "Cheat / Hack Free Games: The biggest benefit of using IWnet by far is the fact that you don’t have to worry about joining a server full of aim-bots, wallhacks, or cheaters. Or relying on the server admin of the server to constantly be monitoring, banning, and policing it. Modern Warfare 2 on PC allows us to control the quality of the game much more than ever before as well as utilizing the VAC (Valve-Anti-Cheat) system to keep games clean of hackers and cheaters." -IW Press Release Clearly this is not the case, but they're only human right? So at least we can expect them to keep the promises that are in their control. "If you cannot find an answer to your issue, you can submit a question/incident to us using the online support form." "You Shall not Hack or modify (or attempt to modify or hack) the Program" - Modern Warfare 2 Manual Now here's the problem: "contacting Steam Support to report cheaters is not necessary, nor will Steam Support act on any information provided." Steampowered.com Clearly IW has lied in its contract to its customers. Games are filled with aimbots, wallhacks and cheaters. They are doing less then nothing about it. This must change! We the undersigned believe that the above mentioned makers of Modern Warfare 2 have breached their contract with their users and hereby DEMAND that they resolve these issues immediately.
