The owners, operators, and employees of the Habibi Sheesha Lounge on Elmwood Ave should ABSOLUTELY be allowed to keep their doors open and continue running their business. The movement to shut the lounge down appears to reflect the personal agenda of a select few in the village community rather than the broad wishes of the patrons / surrounding residents and displays less than subtle shades of discrimination. If there are legitimate concerns regarding the health and safety of the community that are believed to stem from the actions of the Lounge and how it conducts business, they should be voiced in an open forum and backed up with hard proof while giving the proprietors a fair chance to defend themselves as well as their business.

Give this guy a chance... he has had some bad press but deserves to be able to run his business free of discrimination or persecution. Help him make his establishment a place to be proud of. His neighbors need to assist him, not harass him. I have never been in there but I have read a lot of his posts in rebuttal to people who were hating on him. Coexist ... we are one tribe!!!

My God...Habibi Elmwood hasn't even been open a Year! What am I going to do! Even though I didn't find the spot until mid August...It was my favorite place to go on an outing. Not only because it it was relaxing, comfortable and classy but was one of the safest places to be in the City of Buffalo! Amr and his staff always made me feel Safe & at Home. Never once have I experienced any problems. Please give Amr another chance!

Allow the business to continue, I've lived in the elmwood village for almost 2 years and think that the lounge is a great alternative to the recreation on elmwood and has not caused anymore Attention the any other entertainment on elmwood avenue. This business should be allowed to continue business. I also feel like other businesses in the village are intimidated by the lose of business due to the lounge. I have never gone In the lounge and seen the security of personnel of the business not following the rules. FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS !!!!

Habibi Sheesha Lounge is the only place i go out to when i need a night out, i feel safe and most importantly dont have to put up with the annoying drunk people like i would if i had gone to a club or a bar, It's sad to see that Buffalo can do so much better if we didn't have a proplem with diversity
