Green is the way to go, in the long run it'll cost less and save more! I have someone near and dear to me dying of a brain tumor because she's living so close to so many power lines, it'd be stupid to put up another entire plant!

The idea of this power plant a mere few miles from my house makes me sick to my stomache. To degrade this picturesque location, pollute air and water, potentially contaiminate private wells and lakes, risk its residents to harmful potentially cancer causing toxins, lower real estate values, emit light and noise pollution and place it right on the border of RI with the hopes that its neighboring states don't realize what's happened until it's too late is appalling. In this day and age we don't have the heads on our shoulders to realize that this sort of thing is harmful? These people need to wise up and look for enviromentally and people friendly ways of sourcing this power- I'm sure we all wouldn't be up in arms if a solar farm or wind turbine was being planned. I want my kids to live in a healthy, clean air, clean water environment - I don't want to live in an industrial park.

We have many family and friends that this plant could negatively affect besides air pollution and environmental concerns to be considered too. We have enough to deal with as it is why bring on more if we donnot need it. I say NO to this plant.

Any fossil fuel power plants built today will lock in carbon emissions for decades. It is irresponsible and dangerous to continue to build greenhouse gas emitting power plants.

This will ruin our town as a eco friendly community and make our species disappear and ruin people's hobbies such as hunting, fishing etc!!!!! Not to mention all the money the town just spent fixing waterfalls and makin areas to sit by them!!
