A family member was not allowed to build ON WALLUM LAKE ROAD only a mile from this proposed plant because it would upset the aquifer. WHAT WILL THIS PLANT DO? Also, the plant says it will be the town's largest tax contributor, yet I have heard they have a plan in lieu of taxes. What is the truth? My family owns fifty acres of woodland in this area. Have any environmental impact studies been done? I can't see any positive reason to locate this plant here and destroy the rural nature of our town that generations of my family have enjoyed so much.

Keep this environmental disaster out of our town! There are no real benefits from it and the outcome for the citizens, wildlife, and environment will be atrocious.

The environmental risks and overall quality of life issues associated with this power plant outweigh the rewards.

I vote no for a new power plant. I care way too much about the local environment in burriville and surrounding towns.

I grew up on wilsons and my parents are still there. It is a beautiful lake and also I studied animal Science. There are endangered spotted turtles in that lake along with a lot of wildlife. It is horrific to see that change

If this goes up I will be forced to decide between the health of my family (living 1 mile out from the site) or my home. Family vs. home. This is where I will be left. This clearly means I will lose my home. That is a hard burden to carry. This company that will cost me my home will never know my name, know my kids, who not only lose their home but their friends in the schools, their teachers, step foot in my home. They will never carry the weight of this decision, only the profits. As a parent I have to make sure I am not exposing my kids to this level of toxins, it is the only responsible decision that I have to make.

The town council and our elected officials need to start to listen to their constituents! This will have devestating affects on our town, health, property values, and your careers as elected officials!
