The numbers are increasing exponentially daily. Resorted to burlap wrapping and individually dropping the pests into a bucket of water, trying to at least minimize the damage to a few oak, birch and maple trees. All the other trees will have to fend for themselves.

Off Shelter Valley Road, we have been hit as well. Constant fight to control. Becoming a lost cause despite having the property sprayed. Require an affordable aerial spray campaign.

These horrible pests are attacking my beautiful birch and maple trees. I also have an allergic reaction to them - a rash on my arms.

I haven't bbqed, enjoyed the hot tub or simply sat in the yard to enjoy the spring. Those insects are disgusting and a big nuisance.

Ministry needs to step up...spent over 1000.00 last year to have a beautiful oak tree removed that had been infested for two years.

Over here in Brighton we totally need the help from our municipalities and the province. We are slowly loosing our minds trying to keep the kids safe outside. Currently we are spraying vinegar, dish soap and water solution 5 times a day as far up the 100’s of trees we have on our property.

I live on Telephone road in Brighton, and the gypsy moth caterpillars have devestated our property as well as our neighbours in the area.. Its awful..

We are in Carrying Place and haven't seen many of these yet but we agree that they need to be contr olled. We are spraying with BTK hoping to avoid the problem.
