Approached the city about this in early March. Told them it was going to be a problem. They passed the buck saying it was the provincial governments responsibility. Todd Smith's office didn't even reply. Classic passing the buck. Just when we are finally seeing the light at the end of Covid, we can't even enjoy the outdoors because the politicians want to save a few bucks. How's that helping anyone? Why did they even ask us to fill out that questionnaire and map last year anyway? Anyhow...at this point it's too late as the caterpillars are too big. Maybe next year someone will have some foresight? Good luck citizens of Quinte West. As always the people are on their own.

Residents need assistance with this horrific issue. They shouldn’t be left to fend for themselves.

Council has had a significant amount of time to help residents with this devastating problem. So disappointing and something to remember for next election. It has completely affected quality of life outdoors and health problems (rashes) as well. Again, so disappointed in our City Council.

We are fighting a losing battle with the few tools tat we have to kill these things. We need a massive spray of the whole area.

The caterpillars have destroyed numerous trees on my property. They are so bas this year it is impossible to sit outside. I literally killed at least 500 off my deck and side of house. It is impossible for a individual home owner to get rid of them Need help now
