I have many trees on my property infested with them. I do not have sufficient means on my own to deal with them. The residents of QW need help and now.

We have no leaves left on over 30 oak trees we banded & applied Tanglefoot to, all our white pine trees (12) have been stripped & they’re now going after our spruce. The mess has devastated our lot.

I live off Wooler road in the Quinte West area and we are swarming with these gypsy moth .
You can go outside with out them crawling all over you or falling on you .
They have destroyed my trees and plants .
Something needs to be done .
It will only keep getting worse if the government doesn’t start spraying them .

We have planted hundreds of trees over the years to help the enviroment. If they die from being defoliated in this time of drought stress that is 36 years of tree planting diminished.

We have only one small tree, as we live in a newly built area. Not sure our tree will survive this infestation… the bottoms leaves have all been eaten away by these caterpillars.

Terrible conditions this year, shame on the MNR and all the Municipality Members involved who are trying to pass the buck on.
