Let's petition the combined Guyana Parliament to Accept 10,000 Syrian Refugees. Syrians have contributed positively throughout the Caribbean, including Guyana, Trinidad, Barbados and Jamaica. Every country needs to do their part, we cannot depend on the Developed Counties alone. Maybe we can shame the Rich Western and Arab Countries to do more by showing them what what a developing country like ours is willing to do.

We have the capacity and the Syrians can help contribute to the development of this Country... So I implore on the Government to accept them.

WE HAVE TO HELP!!!When I saw the picture of that little boy who drowned and washed up on the beach it brought back very sad memories for me as my son died at 15 months. No child should be found that way or should die fleeing from war. We need to protect them and not allow this to happen!!!!
