This needs to happen! It would be so beneficial to have a turf field and most schools have them now, especially inner city schools.

As a lifelong Guilderland resident whose children went thru the Guilderland school district, I feel this is LONG overdue. Not only does it benefit athletes, but would be huge for the environment. The savings on water, gas, chemicals alone should be enough to make this a no brainer. Let's make this happen!

Desperately needed. Too many other local schools have better facilities than Guilderland and that should not be the case for a number of reasons. I don’t even live in NY anymore but would love to see this dream come to fruition! Go Dutch!

Rescheduling games and practices for faculties is also an administration expense. Why has Guilderland lagged in providing a better experience for these programs? It is difficult for parents for he extra travel also required using other facilities. You have to ask how GHS has not been able to bring this to completion and all others section 2 schools have figured out how to accomplish ?

I strongly support the addition of a synthetic turf field at Guilderland High School and will gladly support the District's decision to include it when it comes time to approve the school budget.
