Petition to support the Guild's continued use of the space on 260 Washington St. for beauty, healing, and connection.
In the spring of 2015 and 2016, a diverse coalition of community contractors, intergenerational resident volunteers and allies began the work of transform a 24,000 sf underutilized garage warehouse in Four Corners into a and the adjacent green space into a beautiful and healing oasis for collaborative programming and development work.
Today, the building is a welcoming and inspiring venue for interim use by Urban Guild Project partners and allies as it hosts community healers, local wellness entrepreneurs, artists, public sector partners and residents.
As the Guild’s home and base of action, 260 Washington St. has evolved into a powerful space for its network to convene and co-craft the vision and conduct holistic programming that both tests and supports the Urban Guild Project’s strategy and vision.
This petition supports a change of occupancy from branch station/garage to offices, community center and accessory cultural spaces and seating area. Join us in making this building our permanent home, and to continue our impactful work in the community.
