I feel strongly players should not be punished for this understandable mistake and their record should be restored so they can compete in the playoffs.The organization can be disciplined in other ways. Kids played fair, no harm or competitive edge was gained from this.

The trainer didn't play. The coaches didn't play. The kids were the ones who played and won those games.
Taking wins away from the kids involved on a technicality should directly contradict the idea of promoting an environment where those kids feel supported by this league.
Lastly, the original source of the complaint about this should be looked at more closely. On the off chance it came from, say, the parent of a child that had something against the team in question, then (of course, speaking hypo

Do you know what it is to do something with passion and to pour every single bit of energy into it? If you have any compassion for those young lives, let them continue their journey this season. I am sure that if it was your child nephew or relative you wouldn't do such thing to affect an entire squad of fighters.
