GTHL Let Them Play

Let kids play the game....dont punish kids for a team or clubs error. I doubt the trainer suited up and played for the team.

The disciplinary action is not proportionate to the misdeed and targets the wrong people - the players.

This is terrible what you are doing to the children! This is not their fault and they should not be punished this way. There are other ways to deal with this. Unacceptable and so disappointing.

This is a disgusting verdict of penalizing children for adults who made these errors

This wasn't intentional and even if it was, it had nothing to do with the kids on the ice.

I believe if the coach didn't play, the children shouldn't get deducted points.

My son's team had a similar penalty imposed on them a few years ago in Atom. Simple clerical error, that the GTHL was partially complicit in. Not as severe a penalty as the Rattlers took as we caught our error earlier. Ridiculous 'letter of the law' versus 'spirit of the law' mentality at the GTHL -- new leadership is needed badly.

This is an awful outcome for youth.

The journey is being taken away from these amazing kids. The journey of teamwork, fitness and friendship.

This is so wrong in so many levels. We played in the GTHL for years and I am mortified that this is being done to this team.

GTHL protects its on ice officials but abuses it's players. Priorities seem all wrong
