As a trainer in the OWHA for many year on my own child’s teams
The trainer has zero impact on the games outcome. Those kids should keep their wins. Fine the team, offer suspension to coach or something. Don’t take away wins. That’s not fair to the players.

I've been involved in minor hockey for 55 years, and I've seen many improvements in the game, such as improved equipment and playing rules. Unfortunately, over the years, there has also been a change in its hierocracy that no longer considers why volunteers get involved to help the kids. This is one reason for the steady decline of youth hockey registration in Canada.
The decision of the GTHL will further help to turn kids away from Canada's game.

Seriously - at this level it is a bunch of volunteers trying to help kids play hockey. They could have just assisted the club in getting up to standard and let them continue playing. Gross and disgusting use of “power” that screams small dick energy. There, I said it.
