the GTA V machinima community needs this to make video's with ease. fans alike have made the transition from current gen to next gen. many of us buying the game twice. And I know Rockstar are a company that needs to make money and that Director Mode is a exclusive for PC. so Rockstars angle for securing sales is giving them exclusive content. now i dont mind that after all they are a business but why should the console players NOT get this content after all we all made the transition many of us buying the game twice.
Rockstar have this as a timed exclusive only with an eventual drop for console.

We hit a major milestone that proves Rockstar can no longer ignore the console community. They think they can keep gatekeeping content while we pay them twice for the same game but this momentum shows they are running out of excuses.

Rockstar is still keeping quiet while we keep buying their games twice. I am sending every single one of your emails directly to their support desk so they cannot ignore us anymore. Keep the pressure on them because they will not give us this tool until we force their hand.

i am so glad someone took a stand ; firstly i bought gta v on ps3 then had to re-buy it for ps4 and then they think they won't include the director mode for next-gen??? Are they serious they are honestly taking the mickey. THEY NEED TO ADD DIRECTOR MODE TO PS4
I bought this game new on the 360 and the One. Each console cost me a total of over £600 + £40 on 360 + £50 on One. I'm not paying like £1000 for a PC strong enough to play this just for Director Mode which can be easily put into Next Gen consoles!
Before the Pc version was even getting talked about they where telling us about Next Gen (xbox one and ps4) and they said then about the editor. they where just trying to trick us into buying the game again just to try and get us to buy it a third time once we founsd out it wasnt in thenext gen
I believe it's possible and really I never understood why it was never added considering you have more to work with compared to the last gen consoles. Also, if anyone remembers "Driver" you were able to film short movies etc... So it's possible, rather Rockstar considers doing it are not.
It should have been equal opportunity. I am a PC gamer, but I think the console should not be inclusive to Director Mode. Let's give the people the best product. It is unfortunate we have to fight for this.

After spending money on both versions and buying them both on day one of release i feel that we should get this editor aswell instead of once again paying rockstar full price for a third copy of this game.
