Hi GSDers. We all know how much we spend on printing costs here at GSD. probably too much and at $0.05 per b&w page, $0.50 for color prints, while cheap, still adds up! What's irritating though, is how printing double-sided costs the same as printing single-sided and on 2x the amount of paper. GSD needs to support trees and sustainability by making double-sided printing cheaper and also making it a printing default. Not only do we help the environment by creating less waste, consuming less resources, but the school saves on paper costs and we save money too! Sign this petition if you're in favor of cheaper double-sided printing and for also making double-sided copies a printing default when you install the printer on your computer. Computer services needs to know there's a critical mass of people who support this before they'll feel compelled to do something about it. Thanks!
