Locality is a well earned, well deserved and definitely needed. We have not had an adjustment in a minute and the staff her is mentally and physically burnt out

We, RNs, were/are in the frontline selflessly caring for our veterans during this pandemic, including accepting double beds designed for single private rooms to accommodate the maximum number of veterans, compromised our own safety working in this crowded place.
Orlando's expense has increased significantly. As a hardworking profession, we deserve a raise, like all other private hospital nurses received. We have not received a raise this year.

The cost of living in Orlando, FL has significantly increased due to inflation. Therefore, the locality pay for Orlando VA Medical Center should be increased. We never received an increase in pay while other VISNS were granted. Locality pay is necessary and should be considered to prevent high turnover of staff, ensure job retention, and to meet the demands of the cost of living.
