To rezone these two areas would big a horrible mistake! Developing our town like this would impact our community in a negative way!

Hahira is unprepared for this influx, and it will cause a further strain on our public schools in this current pandemic to keep children socially distanced.

We enjoy our small town and rezoning will increase the congestion on an already small rd and more importantly put a strain on an already full Hahira Elementary school. This is not the right progress for Hahira Ga

no! This is not how hahira needs to grow. This is the last place that keeps us apart from the big city lights. People desire our small town for a reasin and this is not it.

As a resident of Hahira I vote against the rezone development of the 37.5 acres of land in Hahira that borders Hagan Bridge Road and Coleman Road.

Hahira cannot handle multiple large developments such this one. Our schools don't have the capacity to grow and accommodate all the new students the homes would bring. With the new homes would come hundreds of new drivers, traffic, and safety concerns. Reduced farm land will increase rain runoff and flooding (which already is a problem in this area). Finally, the sense of "Hahira Community", which already is fragile, will be irreparably fractured by forcing in new homes especially small R-6 homes that serve more transient populations.

It’s okay to grow, but do it in a way that helps current and future residents in the long term. We invested in this beautiful town, and we want it done right.

One reason we moved here was that it reminds us of our small town back home. We want our children to grow up in a town where everyone knows you by your first name and has your mama on speed-dial. Please don’t burden our school systems, they are overwhelmed already. Has the crime rate been projected by the increase in the housing market? Is this for the greed of money or for the best interest of our community? Please consider the long-term effects for the people of Hahira and not the short-term gains. We will be praying that God guides you in this decision. Thanks, a concerned mother and citizen.

Please stop this project. Hahira is becoming over crowded with developments going up left and right. I live on Coleman Rd and see the traffic increase on my little dirt road EVERY DAY. This is not fair to the people that live in Hagan Bridge and Coleman Rd. People that have lived there for years. The folks that currently make Hahira what it is should have the final say. All three of my children attend Hahira schools and I can tell you that overcrowding is a problem. The traffic in Hahira is becoming more of an issue as more and more homes are being built. The real estate market has picked up and Lowndes County again and again greedy developers want to flood the market. Please make your voice heard!!!

Hahira is a small quaint town but is slowing losing that southern town charm with all of the small subdivisions going in, resulting in overcrowding and traffic concerns. Not to mention the school crowding issue as well.

We love Hahira and all it has to offer. We started from renting to building our home because we felt safe and secure in this neighborhood. This development is going to cause exponentially more traffic in an already congested residential area. It will bring a burden to the schools. I hope those of us who have been supporting Hahira and their growth, supporting the farmers markets and other events, will have a voice as this is a huge project that has many of us concerned. Please take time to thoroughly consider the empact this will have and hear our voices.

We love our city (even though we live outside the city limits). We would hate to see this overcrowding in our beautiful, SMALL city! If anything, think of the schools!

Part of the reason we are looking to move out of Hahira after the first of the year, is all the subdivisions going up. Too much in too small of a space. Hahira is losing its small town appeal

PLEASE stop this development. I just moved to the end of Hagan Bridge. I left Grove Pointe in part because of the new section of homes being built. I love Hahira because of the true small town feel and this development in a single area would be awful.

The infrastructure, from traffic flow to shared public space, is not ready for further development. Please take steps, in the correct order, to expand Hahira.
