My parents, John and JoAnn Lund are the owners of the lot we live on. They do not have email, but would like to sign this petition and let their voice be heard. They are against the rezoning from Agricultural to Commercial.

this petition really says it all. Grove Lake is just too small for this size of an expansion. I am seriously concerned about the environmental impact. Overfishing, fuel from added boats in the water. And the possibility that if this goes through it will set a precedent of further expansion.

The lake is actually a big slew . Why would you want to put a campground on a small lake like that?

Proposed project would be detrimental to the lake and surrounding property. Area roads not fit for the additional traffic.

Minnesota DNR classifies Grove Lake as Environmentally Sensitive. I believe this development would further aggravate that condition.

if this passes I'm concerned the eagles will be pushed away. And that the lake won't be able to support that many people and camp sites. Is so safe and comfortable, too many more boats, it's not going to be safe

A campground would likely decrease the value of the adjoining and nearby lots which have all recently been constructed. The lake was recently a slough in the past and may not be able to support the vast increase in traffic and use. Water levels could easily revert to pre 1990's levels.

I, with all due respect, see no valid reason for moving forward with this camp ground endeavor.

Strongly oppose rezoning for campground development because of impacts to wildlife, increased boat traffic on lake and property values.

I strongly oppose this secondary to the facts listed above.

I’m admittedly against the campground. I own 15665 N grove lake road. The traffic would be terrible along with our homes value dropping.

I am particularly concerned with the 15 boat slips. This is a natural environment lake that is to small to support the additional load.

I believe this beautiful lake needs to be protected from the environmental damage of too many boats, people and traffic.

I moved here 10 years ago from California and spend every summer weekend at Grove Lake It's a small lake in my opinion definitely big enough for the people whom dwell around it and could handle a handful more .A campground however would make the lake over crowded. No longer safe and every one has a lake agenda fishing, sea doos just hanging out on the pontoon and I think there is a perfect balance so everyone enjoys there thing with out crowding someone out. I lived near a lake in California was so exited to live there and frequent the lake but after a couple weeks realized it was not fun or safe to be there , I fear this is what would happen to Grove Lake. More people just partying on the weekend will result in lack of respect for people that dwell around the lake and appreciate it .There will be trash not disposed of properly and floating up on shorelines where we have livestock dwelling and our homes. Along with campground and large turnover in people comes DUI, burglary and vandalism . Please keep Grove Lake the Agricultural land that it is and should remain .
