U.S. Senator Daniel Coats (R-IN) and Richard G. Lugar (R-IN): More Strict Regulations on the Treatment of Derivatives

Greetings,
We, the undersigned, are calling on U.S. Senators Richard G. Lugar (R-IN) and Daniel Coates (R-IN), to call attention to the loosely govern policy on Derivatives within the financial district of the U.S. Economy.
As quoted by Richard Dooling, “Over and over again, financial experts and wonkish talking heads endeavor to explain these mysterious, 'toxic' financial instruments to us lay folk. Over and over, they ignobly fail, because we all know that no one understands credit default obligations and derivatives, except perhaps Mr. Buffett and the computers who created them.”
Within the wide understanding to how derivatives succeed and fail, there is much controversy. We believe the underlying cause to the failure of Wall Street is not directly from derivatives, but they had a substantial impact. Derivatives are not naturally corrupt but become corrupt from the unethical treatment they receive from investors and their poor decision-making concerning the impact on our economy.
We, the undersigned, are calling on U.S. Senators Richard G. Lugar (R-IN) and Daniel Coates (R-IN) to take responsibility and step in to stop the poor regulation on Derivatives within the U.S. Financial District.
