The purpose of this petition is to gain support for a Trader Joes or Whole Foods to be built off Macarthur's Boulevard on Clay Pond where the Grand Union used to be and near where Pizza by Evan (170 Clay Pond Road) is currently.

This building is currently unoccupied and available to rent.  There is no larger sized grocery store for the people living in the surrounding area within many miles.

Many people will be traveling this road in the summer and a larger store like this would be popular among visitors and residents alike.

This location provides easy access to a food store. Both stores are popular among a variety of people- all incomes and ages. There is not a Whole Foods on the Cape Yet. The nearest Trader Joes is in Hyannis.

In addition, a store like this could generate jobs for locals and visitors.

We, the undersigned, call on business developers to explore the possibility of inviting a Whole Foods or Trader Joes grocery store off Macarthur's Boulevard on Clay Pond. We ask the city to support one of these stores in this location.

Yes please!! Tired of the same old stuff at the local market. Need some healthier choices in town.

We seriously need another option around here. Driving 20 minutes just to get decent produce is gettting old real fast.

Trader Joes would be perfect for that spot. The area is packed in the summer anyway, it would make a killing.

PLEASE. We have literally nowhere to shop near Clay Pond. It makes no sense that it sits empty.

That old building has been an eyesore for way too long. Put a Trader Joes in there and actually bring some life back to that lot.

I hope they listen. The town needs a real grocery store finally.
