If we cannot learn from the past, how can we belong to modern society and really have children at our the heart of all things? It is way past time to make the changes needed for the betterment of life, people have suffered for the lack of safety at this intersection.

Saving lives should be a top priority of this city. Enough lives have been lost to make a change. The families of the people would sleep better knowing that the light is up and making a difference for others.

The flashing lights and signage now there cause an even worse blind spot. There have been numerous fatalities. You cannot see what is coming, and many speed here. This is necessary.

In addition to a light, there should be a warning sign indicating the approaching dangerous intersection. Meanwhile, I believe drivers must use extra precautions at dangerous intersections like this one for ultimately we are responsible. . . light or no light.

I grew up in this area, and this has ALWAYS been a terrible intersection. Partly because people come flying over the hill, and partly the lack of paying attention. It is a very straight part of road that has been used as a speedway and a hill jump for many years. Please put in a light, if it only seems to save one life, isn't that better than loosing more. Not to mention all we have lost in the process.

I live on Grinnell Road, and I've seen scores of serious collisions at this intersection, including my own !!! The flashing light made it worse because they added a pole which served to create an even Bigger BLIND SPOT! Somebody DO SOMETHING!

I drive through this intersection every day and people FLY through and do not obey the 35 mph speed limit especially coming over the slight hill! This intersection needs a traffic light!
