Grimball Bus Lot
I am vehemently opposed to the creation of a bus Lot on Grimball Road. A project of this kind, presents an environmental hazard, as many residents currently use well water. Buses, especially those using diesel fuel, will leak fluids that will be absorbed into the ground, contaminating well water, ponds, local gardens and wildlife.
Because of the residential nature of the community, local roadways are inefficient to absorb the weight of 38 buses, in addition to the number of cars from the elementary school, as well as local residential traffic, on a daily basis, thus, adding to the cracks and sinkholes currently defacing Grimball Road today.
An industrial facility of this kind or similar, in this area, will not only, unfairly limit possible development options currently being looked at, but any future development plans for the area.
