I am vehemently opposed to the creation of a bus Lot on Grimball Road. A project of this kind, presents an environmental hazard, as many residents currently use well water. Buses, especially those using diesel fuel, will leak fluids that will be absorbed into the ground, contaminating well water, ponds, local gardens and wildlife.

Because of the residential nature of the community, local roadways are inefficient to absorb the weight of 38 buses, in addition to the number of cars from the elementary school, as well as local residential traffic, on a daily basis, thus, adding to the cracks and sinkholes currently defacing Grimball Road today.

An industrial facility of this kind or similar, in this area, will not only, unfairly limit possible development options currently being looked at, but any future development plans for the area.

Updates

December 13, 2016

The feedback from neighbors has been consistent regarding the risk to our well water and the state of our roads. I am currently compiling all these concerns to present directly to the county council members. Email your representative right now to demand they block the permit for this lot.

We hit a major milestone and the officials in charge are finally starting to take notice of our community. Post the link on Facebook right now so we keep this momentum climbing. Send an email to your local representative today and demand they address the well water contamination risk on Grimball Road.

A bus depo will take a way from the health and well-being of both wildlife and human families that live in the area.

No no no to much traffic already in our neighborhood and it would be too much pollution in our neighborhood where people still have well water. This is not the best idea for our community.

This is a out rage. These do not care about nothing. If they would investigate the outcome of the land before trying to take over it they would see the affect it would have.

Don't need to risk the health of our future. We don't want to become another Flint, Michigan.

I stand in agreement with concerned residents of Grimball Road and opposed to the creation of a bus lot.
