Traffic is congested enough in that area. It would possibly inhibit the fire department's ability to respond quickly, and potentially cause wrecks with customer ingress and egress.

There is already a gas station at every corner at hwy 49 and the quick stop downtown, why in the world would there need to be another gas station? Couldn't we be more creative yet purposefull to select what we add to Florence instead!?

We already have four convenience stores on 49. That is plenty.
We want a community,not a service point.

That area is already congested enough and needs a stop light or a 4-way stop. You can't get in and out of the business that are currently there because of traffic.

There are enough places to get gas. I agree that we need to make our town more appealing. There are a lot of vacant and neglected buildings. We need more family owned places. #supportsmallbusinesses

I agree with everyone that says we already have enough Gas stations...What about family friendly places to eat and also shop!! Lets start spending Money Local on something other then Gas stations, Car lots and Storage Units.....Florence is a great town lets make sure we keep it that way!!

With around 10 in Richland 5 in Florence and 2 in Star what is the purpose of another gas station. How much gas can anyone use ? Why not add a family entertainment business? That's what's needed!
