It’s time for the Green Party to stand up for women’s sex-based rights.

I have been yearning for the Green party to come to it's senses iyn Women's rights. I've often considered leaving the party over the past few years. As a self professed "old fashioned feminist" it didn't seem that GPEW had a place for me. You have made a huge difference with this declaration. Thankyou so much. Can get back to fighting for the planet rather than fighting each other?

I am deeply offended by the terms cis woman and terf and outraged by the question 'What is a woman?' Let's all ask in response to that question, 'What is a man?'

Very damaging for the Green Party to be sidetracked towards what many interpret as ‘WOKE’ issues, thereby losing the audience of voters needed combat climate change.

Protecting biodiversity & trying to stop ecological degradation & planning for the devastation of man-made climate changes must be rooted in material reality. Sex is binary and immutable. Corporate lobbyists for trans identity are regressive consumer capitalists. Stay human stay rooted in truth science & love

Women's sex based rights must not be eroded. Women and girls must be protected and not referred to as a gender that the opposite sex can assume. Women and girls are such because of their sex and this recognition needs preserving in law and policy to uphold their rights to privacy, dignity and equality. Without this legal and philosophical preservation, women lose their rights. Please support this important policy.

I am a Green Party member yet cannot in good conscience vote for my own party until it recognises that sex-based experiences and challenges are a reality and women and girls have the moral right to organise socially and politically to mitigate the consequences of living with that reality

I support Trans rights. But not at the expense of women's rights.

I have always had green issues at the heart of any votes I am given in the UK. I strongly support the Green Woman's Declaration. Women have been important throughout history as voices of integrity and reason, and as such worthy of respect. I believe that the erosion of women's rights across the Western world is a seriously regressive movement which is creating dissent and ruptures in trust in our society. Tolerance is being jettisoned, along with freedom of speech, and sadly I believe that the Green Party holds a share of the responsibility for that. We have seen alarming affiliations with unsavoury characters, and a lack of common sense in many quarters. It is frankly appalling that women and anyone supporting them are being suspended, sacked or barred from belonging to the Green party because they have the integrity to speak the truth. I will not be giving any further support in any form to the Green Party as long as they ascribe to erroneous and hugely damaging beliefs.

Very relieved this petition has started; it’s rational, and wholly reasonable.
