I am about to leave the Green party due to the lack of debate within the party and consultation with women members.

Sex Matters. How can discrimination and inequality such as equal pay be measured and addressed, if we don't know what we are measuring? Sex is why women of childbearing age or with caring responsibilities miss promotions, are paid less. And, in post-Covid fall out, chosen for redundancy. Without sex, there is no same sex attraction: lesbian discrimination becomes possible. Women have a human right to dignity and privacy which is violated when single sex provision is not available: indeed, single sex prisons are mandated in the Geneva convention. Women also have a right to freedom of assembly and association with other women - and as lesbians. Sex Matters.

Evidence shows that robust recognition of the importance of rights of women and girls, at national and global levels, needs to be core to all policy and action on climate and ecological breakdown.

I voted green for the 1st time in the recent council elections because they are the only party taking climate change seriously enough but I cannot keep supporting them if they continue with these extreme policies around trans rights.

It is not right for women to be bullied into silence. Sexism exists in the Green Party and leaders must be held to account for the decisions they make. Men must not be allowed to dominate and dictate to women. Freedom to debate and freedom of thought are undeniable rights and responsibilities that the Green Party must uphold.

As a member of the Green Party, I am disappointed that the party is allowing voices to be silenced, especially when they are trying to highlight misogyny and homophobia that has infiltrated the party.

If we want people to trust the green party's policies are based on science, we need to stop aligning it with an unscientific and regressive ideology.

I was a green voter, then a labour voter. Now politically homeless as a lefty who is gender critical. Please, Green Party, give me an option!

The Green Party have lost any credibility amongst women, lgb and those opposed to the ideologically driven medicalisation of children. They viciously bully members who know that sex is binary & immutable. The Green Party must return to its roots & stand with women & lgb defending our sex based rights & oppose the grooming of children!

The Green Party needs to respect the rights of biological women and girls. Women suffer discrimination and worse, so they need Female-only spaces. If some Greens do not agree- then we should be able to discuss- rather than have some issues ruled out as 'no debate'

I support the right for women to have safety and retain the long fort for rights to create and have their own spaces.

Wimen need to be active politically and need to be recognised as women.

This issue is why I left the green party. Its completely unacceptable to deny biological reality and silence people who value it

As a MH professional with receipts I support the protection of real biological humans from delusional lunatics.
