The Subject of road repair is Greens Road 77032:

This road is just south of the big Airport (IAH) extending east and west from Aldine Westfield to Lee road. Its proximity as stated is south “Houston Intercontinental Airport” (IAH) which directly connects to John F. Kennedy blvd “The main entrance to the airport”.

2201 Greens Rd Houston, TX 77032 - GPS \ 29.951151, -95.358514 to;

5799 Greens Rd Houston, TX 77032 - GPS / 29.952238, -95.304419;

For the last several years the City of Houston Administrations Civic Improvement Plan(s) (CIP) has wavered in the effort of any successful attempt to repair or improve what has become Houston premier third world road. The pot holes and tar patches are dangerous and plentiful.

The obvious is that we have an overwhelming amount of traffic due to growth in and out of the airport area, having a direct affect on the surrounding commercial properties and companies who maintain a significant tax base with only these roads to show for it.

Greens road is in such deplorable condition with complaints to 311 ranging from damages to automobiles and the costs of front end alignments to the replacement of bent wheels and blown tires.

This petition is requesting that specific attention be immediately directed to addressing the deplorable condition of this highly traveled road. Please sign this petition, and make Greens Road a part of the 21st century.

Houston Fire Station 64 is located at 3000 Greens Road and cars are unable to pull over and allow passing fire trucks due to a several inch drop off on the side of the roads. We the community and tax payers are asking for these roads to be fix.

This road has just been getting worse for the past 20 years. The patch jobs do not make it any better but only worse. Dodging the potholes is like a game of dodgeball with cars and trucks. Would like to know where our tax dollars are going???

Since 1978 this road has been this way! It has been become in the last 10yrs a busy road with 18 wheels, dump trucks to those of us who have worked and driven this road for 38yrs just to get to work. Now there are corporate offices that have knocked down all trees and have increased this roads traffic 100%. Me Mayor missed one of the highly used road in and out of our major Airport

I blew a tire on Greens Rd this past summer, I hit a pothole. Rim was damaged beyond repair. 4 new tires, 4 new rims $1,200.

I just recently bent a wheel due to potholes. This should be addressed. The local business contribute significantly to the local economy. The least the City of Houston could do is to address a most basic issue such as the quality of the roads we drive on.
