These residents of the greenhorn valley in Pueblo County are petitioning the building of greenhouses for the growth of marijuana east of the KOA campground just to the east of Colorado City. We are against the growth of any substance that is harmful to peoples health, and against what it brings with it to the community. This is basically a quiet retirement community that has brought people to this area for that reason. We have always been a little short on water here and with the amount of water that it will take to grow marijuana, this will sometime or another cause the valley some serious problems.
