The height and density of this project is absolutely incompatible with the neighborhood and inappropriate next to the Greenbelt. There is a paucity of retail space and an inordinate number of very small units ( under 800 sq. ft.). There is no community benefit in this project, no dedicated senior housing or low income housing. It is not worthy of approval.

Please vote NO. The Southern Scottsdale Community Planning Area Process was created by over 400 residents and small businesses about 10 years ago.
It was not created just to make buzz work for staff and residents. The previous Council did a very good job of ignoring what the community voice gave serious thought to. That should be the guiding document. But we have been told that it all comes down to “political will.”

Apartments lose the city money (cost more than any income they provide), they increase traffic congestion, and in this case are taking away commercial that contributes to the city's income. Also we have way too many already, with more approved and not yet built. Where is the pubic benefit? Not only is there NONE this project would be a huge detriment to the city, the community and the city's fiscal sustainability.

NO CHANGE IN ZONING! The detriment and loss of commercial businesses and jobs to this community is far greater than the benefit of even more elevated high-density apartments. Please save our local business - NO RE-ZONING

Zoning limitations are there for a reason. We have no infrastructure to support this density and we do not want more short term rental units that are unconforming to city guidelines. Period.

ASU alumnus Daniel Pollack was killed in an alleged hit-and-run early Sunday morning in Scottsdale.
Pollack was pronounced dead after being taken to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center, according to a press release by the Scottsdale Police Department.
Witnesses told police that Pollack, 31, was seen standing approximately 450 feet north of the intersection of North Hayden and East Thomas roads in the striped median lane, according to the press release.
Scottsdale police reported witnesses saw a silver pickup truck, possibly a Chevy Silverado, traveling southbound on Hayden Road when the incident occurred.
The truck continued to drive away after hitting Pollack at 1:15 a.m., according to the release.
In a letter to the media, Pollack’s father and CEO of Pollack Real Estate Investments, Michael Pollack, encouraged anyone with information pertaining to the tragedy to aid in the prosecution.
“We encourage anyone who may have any information about what happened on Hayden Road, to please call authorities,” Michael said.
Pollack worked for his father in Scottsdale at the Pollack Real Estate Investments as a real estate agent and licensed broker.
“He was a wonderful son and a wonderful part of our family and team at Pollack Real Estate Investments,” Michael said.
