The undersigned persons, being citizens of the city of New York, in the state of New York hereby petition council to:

Enact a program to educate the community on the environmental benefits of green roof technology. Green roofs have a variety of environmental benefits that can make the city more environmentally conscience. Also for the city to give subsidies to any building owner who installs a green roof.

Each Petitioner by signing this petition certifies that he or she is an citizen of the City of New York.
