I've been enjoying these cakes since... I can't even remember. Green Onion Cake, you're there for me during festival time, you're there for Father's Day, and for comfort food time. I vote Yes! for Green Onion Cakes! #yeggoc

Yes, green onion cakes. Had one of my first, and so far the best, at a sushi resto on 101 Street and 105 Ave. Iconic, yes!

Yes. The green onion cake is the official snack of Edmonton. Sure perogies, pho tai, donair and butter chicken poutine all have their place at the yeg table. But the green onion cake is Edmonton's signature street food, our unique festival goodie.
