Does not help that the treatment plant also causes contamination too that is why high bacteria count!!! My grandson got very sick after swimming Nature is beautiful as long as man does not ruin the beauty!!! Every year this has become an issue please let's fix the problem so people can enjoy there beaches.....

Not only public safety, personal enjoyment and also town revenue. Many vacation here and is great for the local economy- clean beaches actract more visitors.

All seem to agree about respect for nature but the potential health issue clearly sways the argument to a clean up effort, yesterday. I grew up swimming on that beach for 50 years and never saw anything like this. This is worse than JAWS at Amityville on the 4th of July. Please fix this for our children and people who reside here year round and in the summertime. It's what taxpayers expect. It's the right thing to do.

If Duxbury got the go ahead to remove theirs we should too. Lots of taxes paid by all the towns in our community to have clean shores!

We are rented a home in Green Harbor for the month of July-a once in a lifetime extravagance for us. I am horrified by the condition of Burkes Beach and hope it is cleaned up soon.

I'd like to see all this removed before the 3rd and 4th of July. It would be a shame if this stood in the way of a great time.
