The ending of discrimination against trans people should not result in a lessening of women’s protections nor abuse of those defending them. This debate must be conducted patiently and compassionately by all sides, informed by a clear understanding of where oppressions overlap or are distinct.

I am seriously concerned about the back door erosion of women's rights happening right in front of us. Like many others I'm feeling lost politically as no party seems willing to stand up for women's rights. I agree with all the 6 points above.

Woman - Adult Human Female

I'm a Green Party member, still. I don't 'identify' as a woman. I am a woman. I agree with all 6 points, and believe them self evidently just; the only people who would be so regressive as to object are those who we hear continuously repeating the mantra TWAW. Trans ideology as it manifests itself most vocally in the current discourse is dangerous and abusive to gender questioning children whose future life is at risk before they even have the chance to imagine it, to detransitioners and desisters, to lesbians and gay men who are same *sex* attracted, to transgender people who are proud to be who they are, that is: transgender people, to people with DSD whose experiences are being appropriated by those who don't bother to try to understand, and of course to the many many women and girls who have known the reality of male violence. I sign.

I voted for the Green Party in the last election I will not vote for them again, because they do not recognise that a woman is a biological reality; an adult human female, which does not include biological males who are convinced they are women. Unless the Green party acknowledge the material reality of biological sex, then they cannot support female’s sex based rights, so make it impossible for me as an adult human female to vote for them.

Climate justice and human security require rights and justice for women and girls.

I want to vote Green as I have for several years but I am seriously concerned about the party's stance on the Equality Act and protecting sex based rights. I am very concerned about the push for trans Self-ID as there have been many cases reported where natal females have already been assaulted by transwomen in toilets, prisons and rape shelters. Women have been threatened, assaulted, lost employment, labelled as bigots and more for expressing valid concerns about preserving safe single sex spaces to protect other women and girls, about the erosion of women's sports by the inclusion of transwomen and more. I also think that abolishing the spousal veto is wrong as it forces predominantly heterosexual married relationships to be same-sex which most parties did not consent to at the start of the marriage. The current laws should remain as the spouse whose partner is transitioning should have a choice whether to accept their sudden change in married status and not be forced into it which may add to trauma or conflict with their religious beliefs. I have serious doubts about my vote unless these issues are resolved positively.

I've seen the violence from so-called transwomen towards actual women, so no, I do not want to share a hospital ward, changing room, etc with them. I've heard how transwomen talk about women, so no, I do not think they have the faintest clue what it is like to be an actual woman, and no, I do not want them speaking over me or representing me in parliament.

Some common sense at last

Sex not gender. As someone else has already said, I also feel "politically homeless" because not one single party will take a stand on this issue. So now my vote in December and all future votes will be determined by this issue and this issue alone. Make a stand or lose my vote.

Currently unable to vote Green due to the sidelining of female sex-based oppression, and the total failure of safeguarding around the Challenors.

I've voted either Labour or Green Party in every election. I find myself politically homeless as neither party recognises how important sex based services for women and girls are.

There can be no social justice for women whilst people are going around spouting the claptrap that “a woman is anyone who says they’re a woman.” Women and girls are a biological reality, not an identity, and need defending and recognising on the basis of their sex not gender - regressive socially constructed ideas of what women should be that have held us back and pigeon-holed us for millennia.

Male entitlement affects all political parties and movements. The Green Party was the first political party in Britain to really challenge this entitlement, and despite recent setbacks, it can do so again.

I am a lifelong green supporter but won't vote for any party that will won't uphold women's sex-based protections. If you can turn this around, you'll have my vote back.
